Starting July 1st, NC FIT will proudly offer personalized Nutrition and Mindset Coaching. Based on our experience with thousands of clients over the years, we know what its like to feel that you don't have your overall fitness lifestyle dialed in.
Our Nutrition and Mindset programs are meant to supplement your fitness training and cultivate your overall fitness lifestyle.
The programs consist of weekly check-ins from our staff who are experts in their field. Whether you are starting from scratch, or just want to fine tune your eating or training habits, our team will work one-on-one with you to achieve personalized goals and set you up for success from day one.
Laura is a Certified Nutrition Consultant specializing in practical real food nutrition. Laura has been working with nutrition clients for over 3 years and has experience in a wide variety of needs, including healing through nutrition, hormone balancing, weight loss, performance gains, and overall improved health. As a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer and former member of the CrossFit Level 1 Staff, she has years of experience and a deep understanding in how nutrition and fitness play an integral role in improving health, athletic performance, and quality of life. She works with clients using an approach that is not only effective, but also realistic and lasting.
Adam Saucedo, M.A. is our NC Fit Mindset Coach. He provides NC Fit members with private coaching to develop an optimal mindset necessary for a sustainable fitness lifestyle. The service is intended to provide an initial framework around the mental side of fitness. This built in support-system allows clients to explore mindset techniques to ensure a positive fitness experience from day one. The programs consists of weekly in-person and remote check-ins to ensure optimal results. This service is intended for both new and existing members. For existing members, this service can provide the necessary spark to reenergize your purpose and approach to fitness. Finally, any member looking to gain a competition edge, Adam has over 6 years experiences working with the individual CrossFit athletes, preparing them for the Open, Regionals and CrossFit Games. If you are using NC Fit to physically prepare for another sporting outlet, Adam can individualize his Mindset Coaching to cater to your specific sporting needs.
Adam brings a variety of work experiences to his Mindset Coaching. His private practice is located in Northern California. He provides both individual and team consulting to help his clients align Mental Performance training with their current physical training needs. Since receiving his Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology, Adam has applied his knowledge and expertise in a variety of amateur and professional sport, exercise and business world settings. This currently includes, but is not limited to, work with teams and individual athletes at Santa Clara University, San Jose State University, Linfield College, Los Gatos High School & Eagle Fustar Tennis Academy. With these programs, he not only works with the athletes, but he also works in conjunction with the coaching staff to increase team cohesion and enhance leadership. Most recently, Adam has been recruited to join KPA Elite Performance, LLC. as the Chief Operating Officer. He is currently responsible for the daily North American operations of the company. Finally, in addition to his consulting work, Adam also contributes to various sport and exercise journals, blogs and other literary magazines.

DH, found CrossFit during his last cycle chemotherapy treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2009. Since meeting CEO of NorCal CrossFit, and 2008 CrossFit Games champion Jason Khalipa, he has experienced that regular, functional exercise coupled with proper nutrition has contributed to ward off cancer for more than five years. He is a strong believer in improving overall health and wellness through effective, meaningful exercise.
