  • I have been coaching since 2018, driven by a passion to help people realize they can achieve amazing things with their fitness. Witnessing members surpass their own expectations is incredibly rewarding, and it motivates me every day.

Fun Fact: I’m a huge geek—I love diving into anime, manga, books, video games, and Magic: The Gathering!

  • Howdy friends! I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2012 and coaching since 2013. CrossFit showed me camaraderie and confidence, which are key things I aim to teach and share with others. Coaching is a beautiful balance of education, motivation, and accountability. For anyone on the fence thinking about changing their lifestyle habits, I say go for it and we’re here to help! Regardless of the time I coach, I will bring energy like I’ve just had a double shot of espresso.

Fun Fact: I studied abroad in Oviedo, Spain!

  • A decade in the fitness industry has taught me about myself, coaching, and how to create space to inspire the best in people. I have learned to let my ego take a backseat and utilize a more strategic and systematic approach to my training and coaching. I began with group fitness classes, but my passion is personal training. I genuinely enjoy guiding athletes to help them realize their potential and reach beyond what they thought was possible.

Fun Fact: If you are a friend or client, and I see you in the gym but don’t say hello, it may be my twin brother!

  • I have been at NCFIT for 4 years and have been coaching CrossFit for 3 years. Prior to finding CrossFit, I was in the collegiate strength and conditioning world working with the University of Iowa football team. I enjoy coaching because of the relationships I get to build with all the athletes I get to see every day, and help them see progress in their health and fitness. I really love coaching strength and have a powerlifting background personally before starting to train for CrossFit competition. I offer PT sessions, especially focused on getting stronger and learning the barbell movements.

Fun Fact: I’ve recently gotten into mountain biking and am a huge fan of the Joe Rogan podcast.

  • I’m a strength and conditioning coach in collegiate athletics. I started CrossFit in 2020 and started working at the front desk at NCFIT. I grew to love the community here and the coaching was unmatched, so I decided to learn from the best and become a coach.

I’ve been coaching at NCFIT since 2021 and love being able to share my knowledge to help people achieve their goals. My focus is to always bring energy and make sure each member learns, is challenged, and has fun in class.

Fun fact: I’ve been playing beach volleyball since I was 12 and I’m one of the top ranked players in NorCal!

  • I’ve been coaching since 2020 and actually got my start here at NCFIT with the coaches internship. By far, my favorite thing about coaching is connecting with members and watching them do something they never thought was possible. It’s inspiring and a great reminder to do things that scare you!

Fun Fact: I was born in Switzerland!

  • I’ve been a personal trainer for 7 years and have been a CrossFit coach for almost 2 years. Helping people through fitness has always been my driving passion through life, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing the success of my clients and members at the gym. I’ve always been the kind of trainer that likes to challenge people, and show them they are capable of so much more than they think. And that if they can get through a personal training session with me, that everything else in their day will be a piece of cake :)

Fun Fact: Although I’m an incredibly loud and vocal coach, I am incredibly introverted and have a lot of social anxiety. Nothing gets me more fired up than fitness.

Megan S

  • I started coaching CrossFit in 2022 while I was finishing graduate school and knew I wanted to continue coaching when I moved to South Bay! I grew up doing gymnastics (plus a lot of other sports after that) but I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2019 and I haven’t looked back. As a coach, I really enjoy getting to know the members and engaging directly with the community. Really, I just want to share my enthusiasm and love of the sport with anyone I can!

Fun Fact: My dad suggested that I cultivate one non-sport hobby in my 20s so guess I’d also say I’m not a shabby cake decorator.

Katie

  • I’ve been coaching CrossFit since 2017, and I love to see the training and the community change people’s lives just like it changed mine. Watching people’s movements improve and their confidence grow is my favorite thing about coaching.  And the high fives after a nasty workout!

Fun fact: I’m a little obsessed with trees.  I used to climb them professionally and I’ve planted over 3,000 of them (so far).

Rob

  • I found CrossFit while deployed to Iraq in 2007. My first workout was “Helen” and I’ve been hooked ever since! I specialize in metabolic disorders such as Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes and metabolic syndrome and have successfully helped people reverse diabetes and improve their metabolic health.

I love to coach others how CrossFit is the “cure” and can help with improving healthspan!

Fun fact: I am on the CrossFit Safety advisory board

Danny

  • I joined the NCFIT team with a background in martial arts and a passion for gymnastics-based training. I hold my CrossFit Level 2 and spent the last three years coaching CrossFit full-time in London.

I love helping members build confidence in movements that require skill and coordination, and I’m excited to get to know more of the NCFIT community - especially through working with athletes one-on-one.

  • Hey everyone! I started my CrossFit journey in 2019, and it quickly turned into a passion—not just for the sport itself, but for understanding how to move properly, efficiently, and with purpose. I'm all about moving well and moving strong! CrossFit, to me, is the perfect combination of building longevity, improving fitness, and nurturing mental health.

Before CrossFit, I began my fitness adventure with kickboxing, which taught me the value of discipline and focus. That foundation inspired me to dive deeper into weightlifting and functional fitness, where I learned the importance of fundamentals and technique.

I firmly believe that with the right mindset and approach, anyone can transform their lifestyle and achieve incredible goals! If you're ready to make a change, let's get started!

CrossFit. Nutrition. Accountability. Results.
