EOE ep. 229 | Fitness Saved My Life & Optimizing Blood Work — Dr. Adam Hotchkiss

June 22, 2022   |   Hosted by Jason Khalipa

We have Dr. Adam Hotchkiss on the show today. A podiatric physician by training, Adam found that the vast majority of his patients were coming to him when preventable diseases had progressed to the point where amputation was their only option and that he was rarely helping patients become healthier or prevent disease.

As someone who’s passionate about human optimization, much of his focus has changed toward overall human optimization and disease prevention through a holistic approach utilizing nutrition, exercise, and in-depth lab work to improve system markers and overall wellbeing.

In this episode, Adam discusses his path to becoming a doctor, overall human optimization, how fitness saved his life, and weighs in on the topic of wearing shoes vs. going barefoot.
